Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

At UNIFORM DESIGN CENTER INC, we strive to deliver high-quality custom uniforms tailored to your exact specifications. Due to the personalized nature of our products, we have a limited refund and return policy. Please review this policy carefully before placing your order.

2. Eligibility for Refunds & Returns

We accept returns or issue refunds under the following conditions:

  • Defective Products: If your order arrives with manufacturing defects (e.g., stitching errors, fabric flaws).
  • Incorrect Orders: If you receive items that differ from your approved design proof.
  • Damaged Shipments: If your order is damaged during transit (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery).

Non-Eligible Cases:

  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with color/fabric after approval.
  • Incorrect sizing due to customer-provided measurements.
  • Minor variations in color or texture due to monitor display differences.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us: Email [uniformdesignofnyc@yahoo.com] within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the issue, and a detailed description.
  2. Approval: We will review your request and provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) if eligible.
  3. Ship Back: Send the unused items in their original packaging to:

  4. Inspection: Upon receipt, we will inspect the items and notify you of the refund or replacement status within 5 business days.

4. Refund Options

  • Refund: Issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after approval.
  • Replacement: Free re-production of the defective/incorrect items.
  • Store Credit: Optional for future orders.

Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for sizing errors under the following conditions:

  • Request must be made within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused and in original condition.
  • Customer covers return shipping costs; we cover shipping for the replacement.

6. Cancellations

  • Before Production: Full refund if cancellation is requested before production begins.
  • During Production: 50% refund or store credit, as materials may have already been allocated.
  • After Production: No cancellations accepted.

7. Warranty

All custom uniforms come with a 30-day limited warranty covering:

  • Seam integrity and fabric durability.
  • Colorfastness under normal washing conditions.

Exclusions: Damage caused by improper care, alterations, or misuse.
